Itinerary

Discover one of the most impressive waterfalls in the San Martín Region.

Day 1: CACAO, PETROGLIFOS AND KAYA IN 1 DAY

8:30 a.m. Transfer from Puerto Antwerp – Juanjui to Pachiza by slider. Visit to the Commercial Port of Huicungo. Learn about the process of making cocoa products. 11:00 am. (approximately) Departure to the village of Santa Rosa. The petroglyphs of Apisuncho-Cateña will be observed along the way Lunch in Santa Rosa Walk around and visit the viewpoint. Transfer to the camping area in the hamlet of Santa Rosa. Camping equipment will be provided and tents will be erected. Kayak practice in the Huayabamba River Overnight in the camp.

Morning:

Start your adventure with an early morning hike, guided by the melodious chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves. The trail is relatively moderate, making it accessible for adventurers of all skill levels. As you ascend, the canopy of trees gradually opens up to reveal glimpses of the falls in the distance.

Upon reaching the waterfall, take a moment to marvel at the breathtaking sight. Breo Waterfalls, with its multi-tiered cascades, presents a captivating display of nature’s artistry. Following a picnic lunch near the waterfall, the afternoon can be dedicated to exploration. Evening:

Day 2: FULL DAY THE SAN MARTÍN BREO WATERFALL

Breakfast Departure towards the Breo Waterfall. During the tour you will also get to know Cajón de Cajañahui, the Cascada Velo de Novia, Vicky Waterfall and enjoy a refreshing swim. Return to Juanjui.

Morning:

On the second day, awaken to the sounds of the forest and the distant rumble of the waterfall. After a hearty breakfast, embark on a more challenging hike to explore the upper reaches of the falls. The higher vantage points offer panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, providing a unique perspective of Breo Waterfalls.

Afternoon:

Return to the base of the falls for a final moment of reflection and appreciation. Capture your last memories of this natural wonder before bidding farewell. As you descend back to civilization, carry with you the tranquility and inspiration gained from your time at Breo Waterfalls.
