PROMOTION: Inti Raymi Tour of 5 days and 4 nights in Cusco Sacred Valley and Machupicchu
First Day June 22: WELCOME AND TOUR IN CUSCO
- Welcome and transfer to Cusco airport to hotel.
- Welcome coca tea.
- Tour around Cusco and outskirts (in the afternoon from 13:30 hrs – 18:30 hrs)
- Overnight at hotel
We’ll be waiting for you at the airport in Cusco on your arrival date, take you to the hotel where you will rest for an hour, you’ll have a cup of coca tea and we will pick you up from your Hotel in the afternoon (13:30 hrs) to start with the tour around Cusco and outskirts.

The Koricancha Palace and Convent of Santo Domingo Religious center known as “The Temple of the Sun” where you will admire the impressive engineering used in its construction.
The Cathedral: Colonial religious monument of extraordinary artistic value.
Sacsayhuaman: Built at 3 Km. From the city of Cusco, impressive stone fortress with an excellent architecture, Famous for its huge carved stones some of which are at 9 m/ 30 feet off the floor,with a weigh of 350 tons. Here iswhere the Inty Raymi or Fiesta del Sol is held in June Every year.
Qenqo: Ceremonial and ritual center, amphitheatre where sacrifices were made.
Puca-Pucara: An old tambo (resting place), monitoring place throughout the Inka Empire Routes.
Tambomachay: At 7 Km. From the city of Cusco, ceremonial center of cult to the water, known traditionally as the place where water rests excursion time: around 5 hours. Frequency: everyday in the afternoons.
Second day June 23: MACHU-PICCHU TOUR IN ONE DAY
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- 5:30 am. Uploaded by bus to Machu Picchu.
- 6:00 am. Sunrise view of Machu Picchu.
- Optional: Hike Huaynapicchu (3 hours, without guide).
- Guided Tour in Machupicchu 11:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs.
- Lowering bus to Aguas Calientes.
- Lunch in Aguas Calientes.
- In the afternoon return by train to Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo. (From 19:00 hrs. to 20:32 hrs.)
- Travel by bus from Ollantaytambo to Cusco. (From 20:45 hrs. to 22:15 hrs.)
- Transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
From 05:45 hrs to 18:00 hrs., we pick you up from your Hotel in Cusco (3400 m.a.s.l.) and drive you to the Train Station, located in Poroy, then we get aboard the train and the trip from Cusco starts heading to Aguas Calientes (2000 mosl).
Our Guide Will be waiting there , he will lead us to the bus station, to go up by a zigzag way for 30 minutes to reach the world wide marvel The Sanctuary of Machupicchu, known as the lost city of the Incas.
Once we get to Machu-Picchu, We’ll pass throught the control, where we’ll hand in our entrance tickets and where our guided tour will start, visiting the main square, the Circular tower, the sacred solar watch, the royal rooms, the temple of the three windows and the cementeries, it lasts around two hours.
Afterwards you’ll be given enough time to have a walk around the citadel and have your meals , at any restaurant in Aguas Calientes or if you wish at Santuary Lodge (this is not included).
In the afternoon, betwen 15:30 hrs and 17:00 hrs we’ll return on train to Cusco, we’ll be waiting for you at the train station and then we’ll take you back to your hotel.
Third Day June 24: Tour Inti raymi (SUN FESTIVAL)

Finally, the day has arrived to enjoy Inti Raymi 2024; it takes place once a year, specifically on the winter solstice and was of utmost importance to the Incas.
We will witness the performance of this Festival of the Sun, an ancient Andean religious ceremony in honor of Inti (Sun God).
Every June 24, the day when the sun is farthest from the earth, the Inti Raymi or “Festival of the Sun” is celebrated. It remains the most important religious festival during the time of the Incas.
To this day, it continues to be represented in the architectural complex of Sacsayhuaman.
The Inti Raymi takes a whole day, starting at approximately 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Our team will pick you up from your hotel around 7:45 a.m. to head to the Qorikancha Temple.
The ceremony begins at 8:30 a.m. in front of the Qorikancha temple on Av. el Sol. You can witness the entire ceremony, which will take approximately an hour.
Then, we will walk to the Plaza de Armas to continue participating in this Andean festival; this ceremony lasts another 45 minutes, observed standing from a point in the Plaza de Armas.
Later, always with the assistance of our team, you will walk to the bus that will take you directly to Sacsayhuaman, where the main offering, worship, gratitude, and requests to the Sun God will be dramatized.
Here, the ceremony will last approximately 3 hours, and you can watch it seated in reserved seats.
After the ceremony, our team will be present to facilitate the bus return to the City of Cusco, ensuring that your day ends comfortably.
Fourth Day June 25: Sacred Valley Tour

- Tour the Sacred Valley of the Incas. (You will visit Pisac and Ollantaytambo, 08:00 hrs – 16:00 hrs)
- Inka Rail train ride from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (from 04:36 hrs. to 18:09 hrs.)
- Overnight at hotel in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu).
This tour starts around 09:00 hrs, we pick you up from your Hotel, we have a guided tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, over the Vilcanota river, with a panoramic view of Pisac an old Inca City and visiting
the Inka handycraft market in this village, where we will have the chance to know in a closer way its people customs and get good bargains with the handycrafts and souvenirs sellers, afterwards we’ll head for Urubamba, traveling on the borders of the river Vilcanota.
We’ll have lunch at a restaurant in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. In the afternoon we visit the fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to watch the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from the jungle habitants invasions.
We’ll have the chance to walk by the narrow streets and have a clear knowledge of how this militar, religious and cultural center was during the Inca empire.
On the way back to Cusco we will stop by the colorful village of Chinchero , where we will find the ruins of the Tupac Inca Yupanqui Royal House, we will appreciate its well preserve Inca wall in the main square and you will visit the beauty Colonial Temple with invaluable portraits, built over Inca Bases. Then we return to Cusco.
Fift Day June 26: Farewell
